Good morning Senior Kindy friends,
today we have enjoyed a short play outdoors as the weather was a little chilly. The educators decided to wait for the beautiful sunshine to come through the clouds.
As the children went outdoors they were excited to see the favourite toys ( the bikes) waiting for them. The children rode along the concrete area taking their toys to the shops.

The children also enjoyed spending most of their morning outdoor play in the sandpit creating delicious sand birthday cakes for one another, the children worked together to mix, pouring a shake all the sandy cake ingredients into their buckets, plates and bowls.
The children all sat together and sung happy birthday using tan bark as a candle.
This morning we also explored with the diggers, digging big holes and filling them back up with sand.
As more friends arrived at kindy together they explored on the swing pushing one another and swinging the toys they had brought from home.

As the children transitioned indoors for indoor activities Miss Stacie took group time and together the children disgusted the date, day and weather
Miss Stacie then read the story ‘the echidna and the shade tree’ Miss Stacie then suggested they make echidna’s using playdough and pop sticks as the spikes.
The children were excited by this and all sat together after morning tea to begin exploring with the playdough.
The children were full of fun creations and were having fun having conversations with their friends about what they are making.

The children then helped each other to tidy the room before playing outdoors again.
Together the children took turns in pushing each other on the swing, they then continued to make more birthday cakes in the sandpit singing happy birthday to Miss Maca.

We hope everyone has have a great day and an even better afternoon.

Miss Tash, Miss Stacie and MIss Maca 🙂
