Jingeri and good morning to all our amazing parents of Senior Kindy! We’ve had a very fun-filled day today and can’t wait to share it with you all!
It’s been so good having our new Junior Kindy friends to share the yard with of a morning and afternoon now. The children love having old and new friends to play with. It’s beautiful to watch their imaginations run wild and listen to their joyful laughter. This morning we decided to stay outside with our Junior Kindy friends until 9:45am. It’s been such a long time since we’ve had another class to share the yard with, and the kids are loving it so much, so we wanted to give them as much time together as possible.
Group time was a little later this morning but that didn’t stop our friends from learning! Our friends began group time by saying good morning to their peers and educators. To extend on our learning of numbers 0-10, Mr Oskar brought out his trusty flash cards to test the children on what they’ve learned. Personally, I think these children are just getting way to smart! So I might have to up the anti and challenge these kids with more difficult questions!!
Because there were repairs being made to the roof, we weren’t able to go outside before Lunch, but that didn’t stop us from having fun inside. The children enjoyed drawing, building train tracks, reading books and role playing in the pizza shop. As some of our friends returned from gymnastics, they walked in with huge smiles on their faces and said they had so much fun! After finishing our free play, we packed away and all sat together on the carpet for show and tell. Before Lunch, we ended our indoor play with a dance party hosted by Miss Stacie.
Although our routine was a little bit different today, we still had heaps of fun, laughed a whole bunch, shared some beautiful moments and enjoyed our time together as a class… Just how kindy should be.
We hope you had a great day and look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow!
Mr Oskar, Miss Tash, Miss Stacie and Miss Hollie.
