DAILY BLOG:

What an amazing night we had last night at our Christmas party, it was definitely the talk of the kindy this morning. We had a great time sitting on the logs talking about the fun concert and the jumping castle from last night. We also read some of the special stories Santa gifted the children last night. Outside in the pirate yard we also explored the swings, balls, mud kitchen, bikes and constructed with the junior engineer set. It was quite windy outside this morning.

We came inside after such a busy morning and went straight to hand washing and morning tea, once the dancer returned, they joined us at the tables and had their morning tea too.

Activity time was super productive today.

Rusmir and Grayson were our photographers today, he did such a great job at capturing our learning adventures today.

Alex sat down and constructed a train track, he used different materials such as blocks and puzzles to prop the track up at places and make hills for the trains to climb. Elijah watched from a distance before joining Alex with the trains.

Miss Kate organised some Christmas painting. For this Miss Kate printed some pictures of Christmas trees and Santa and supplied the children with Red and Green paint, Cotton buds and Christmas coloured fine glitter. April, Scarlet, Harry, Grayson, Talia, Ellie, Eva, Avery, Yuzuki, Elijah, Rusmir, Dion and Tanner all participated in this crafty activity.

Rosie, Tithi and Khwaish were back in home corner, they cooked up a storm before moving on to book corner then our special Christmas puzzles from last night Christmas party.

We packed away early and went outside where Miss Kate initiated a game of musical statues, Eva, Hannah and Mila preferred to play tag with each other around the pirate yard.

We also explored:

  • Trains
  • Duplo
  • Puzzles
  • Planes and cars
  • Gears

Thanks for a great day 😊

Miss Kate, Miss Tania and Miss Bek.
