We have had such an enjoyable afternoon in After School Care with Miss Jo, Miss Claudia, Miss Emma and Miss Maddy spending the afternoon with the children.
After a healthy late snack at the school we headed over to the kindy for an afternoon of activities and Arakan!
It was the usual group of children who joined Mr Brad in Arakan – Tyler, Myles, Cameron, Jacob and Sebastian really enjoy their Thursday afternoons at Arakan and have formed a lovely bond with Mr Brad!
Indoors we had plenty going on to keep us busy! Miss Emma had made some beautiful purple play dough with lavender scent through it. Campbell, Bohdi, Ella, Alexandra, Kye and Eljay enjoyed the scented play dough and spent quite some time playing with it.
Miss Jo set up a collaging activity offering the children paper plates and a variety of collage materials to create with. Toni, Pia, Halle, Jireh and Gabriel enjoyed spending quality time at the crafty table cutting, pasting and taking the time to be creative!
The drawing table was very popular with Ella and Lucy spending the majority of their afternoon drawing. Gabriel was very sweet and drew Miss Jo and Miss Claudia a diamond each!
The older boys were busy with their Ipads playing Geometry Dash and chilling out in the quiet area of the room.
The most popular spot to be seen this afternoon was in Home Corner with a lot of children using their imaginations during their play. Summer, Indigo, Khaleesi, Jireh and Gabriel enjoyed spending time with one another and sharing play ideas in Home Corner.
At the end of the afternoon Zac, Jakobi and Tyler organised a game of soccer on the veranda area.
