Jingeri Pre-Kindy children, Miss Alison, Miss Nicole and Miss An.
Outdoor play are such an important part of the day for the pre-kindy children. Why? Because out door play gives the children the chance to explore the natural environment and have adventures. The children can play games, test their physical limits, express themselves, building friendship and build their self-confidence.
In this morning, Yuvein happily waves goodbye to his parents and when he reach the gate, he were so excited to see his educator and friends. He running off to Henri, Nidhan and join them in the sandpit. (1.4.1 show interest in other children and being part of a group.)
Ashton, Charlie, George, Jax and Holly were playing hide and seek game. They take turn to count from 1-10 and they shouted loudly here I come. Ashton is the catcher, Jax and George were hiding in the tunnel, Holly and Charlie were hiding at the bush, it didn’t wait until Ashton find them, they all jump out by themselves and tell him they are here. Cute though. (5.1.13 use language to communicate thinking about quantities to describe attributes of objects and collections, and to explain mathematical Ideas)
Mya were happily pushing Emmi on the swing and they also invite some other friend to join them too.
Maddison and Harper were enjoy climbing on the red fire pole. And they also enjoy sat on the edges and chat with Miss Nichole about what they like, what their dinner are and other topic too.
Jude, Max were enjoy read on the picnic table by themselves or either read for each others. When Max find a horse he will excitedly share to Jude and point it to him. Jude read a book about shark, Jude were excitedly shared with Max too.
Mason B and Sophie come right before we getting ready to head in into our classroom. To transition the children into the classroom, we have line up nicely, count how many of us in a line and give a high five when we walk in (1.1.2 use effective routines to help make predicted transitions smoothly.) We put our shoe on the shelf, hat on the hat on the hook and wash our hands and enjoy our morning tea. (A)
We had a lovely group time (2.1.7 participate in reciprocal relationships.) We welcome Sophie to join our Pre-Kindy room with a big clap. The children also enjoy to share and tell sophie about their name too.
We start the group time with the land acknowledgement, then follow with a pop-up book that Max choose, “Mega Animal”, He told his friend yesterday he when to country farm and he saw lots of his favorited animals. After that, we read another book that about sharing, which yesterday Miss Alison have read to us. SHARING IS CARING (IT) (4.3.1 engage with and co-construct learning.)
After enjoy our morning tea, Miss AN have organized some numbering activity for the children to continues their learning just like the hide and seek game. There are 3 different type resources that children got to try on. First one is matching the number and the cars colour with the marked numbers. Ashton and Henri were enjoying it lots. 2nd resources is numbering balance beams. The children have to balance the rocky beams with the same amount of the blocks if not one side of the blocks will all falling. Jax, George, Nidhan and Maddison were very enjoy it. Last resources were the bead slot. The children have to slot in the numbers written on the bottom (from 1-10). Harper, Bobbie and Henri were great in it. (EI)
Harper, Holly, Maddison, Emmi, Mya, Jude and Max were asking for costume dress up. The girl dress up as princess and the boy dress up as pirate, police (boys changes the costume more than the girl). Then Maddison come and ask songs so they can dance with it. Dance party started. (EI)
Sophie and Mason B were enjoy doing some art & craft. Be creative. Sophie said that awesome artwork are for her younger brother, Lucas. (CI)
we heading out to have a short play. Right before the lunch time, we making our own bed with a little helps of the educators. (A) Pesto pasta & salad bar, – we all enjoyed lunch and ate lots before we had a guided mediation about a sleepy dragon before a rest time. Some of our friends had a sleep to re charge some had some quiet small world play during rest time.
